Patrick Broe

CFM, SFP President

Patrick is a Chief, Departmental Operations for the County of San Diego. Patrick manages a diverse variety of buildings consisting of office buildings, detention facilities, laboratories and courthouses. Patrick holds customer satisfaction and professional excellence in the highest regard. He works hard to promote the wellbeing and advancement of those around him. He is an active member of the local and national chapters of the International Facility Managers Association and the California Counties Facility Services Association. Patrick is a proud husband and father to three beautiful daughters so please pray for him!

Wil Collier

Vice President

A native of California’s Central Coast, Wil brings a lifelong commitment to civic engagement and community involvement to his role as Vice President. Before transitioning into public service, he spent over 20 years as a general contractor, developing a deep understanding of building systems, project management, and client service.

He joined the County of Santa Barbara’s Facilities team as a Building Maintenance Supervisor, where his leadership and hands-on expertise quickly distinguished him. He now serves as the Division Manager, overseeing critical operations, supporting staff development, and driving initiatives that enhance the County’s facilities and the communities they serve.

Dedicated to professional growth and industry collaboration, Wil is also an active member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), where he continues to expand his knowledge and contributes to the advancement of the facilities management profession.

Dennis Hughes

Treasurer

Dennis is a native of Northern California, he started working with Placer County in 1998, after a diverse career in the private sector with companies such as Coherent, Intel, and Pride Industries. Dennis promoted through several positions with Placer County currently serving as the Building Maintenance Superintendent. Prior he was the Assistant Building Maintenance Superintendent for the last 5 years of his 28 year career with Placer County. Dennis oversees maintenance operation for all county buildings including 2.4 million square feet of owned and leased facilities. Dennis has been a member of the California Counties Facility Services Association for the last 8 years, being elected to the Board in 2018.

Kip Wadkins

Secretary

Kip is a Senior Stationary Engineer, County of Sacramento, Department of General Services, Facility Maintenance and Operations, Downtown District.20+ years of county service, Last 6 years as Senior Stationary Engineer responsible for 22 Stationary Engineers and Building Maintenance Workers and the maintenance and repair of mechanical and building control systems for approximately 2.5 million square feet of county facilities which includes 3 high rises.
